Mindful Marks
Creative Play • Open Studio • Art Recess

Come create + connect.

Mindful Marks is a relaxed, open-studio style gathering—an invitation to slow down, make space, and play creatively together.

Think of this as creative play time. There is no formal instruction, but gentle guidance is available if you’d like it. Some gatherings may include a simple prompt or creative exercise, while others are completely open for you to follow your own inspiration.

Bring a project you’ve been working on, or come with nothing at all and explore the materials provided.

We’ll have watercolor, gouache, watercolor pencils, paint markers, gel pens, pastels, crayons, and collage materials available for you to play with.

You’re welcome to:
• create from your imagination
• follow a playful prompt
• or use one of our guided paint pages

This is a pressure-free space—an invitation to let your guard down and open yourself to the materials, each other, and the joy of creativity.

When we create alongside one another, something shifts. The nervous system softens. The walls come down. Conversation becomes easier. And we remember that creativity isn’t just about making something beautiful—it’s about showing up and being human together.

This is a gentle, in-person extension of my online Mindful Marks clay — less structured, more open, and rooted in connection. Find the guided online class here

Happy Customers

"I LOVE my paint palette, not only does it just look super cute which inspires creativity, but it is also super functional! I love that there are lots of little crevasses that I can make small variations of colors + mixes. The little ridges on the border are helpful for bringing all of my bristles together too. I never paint without it now, I love it! "

Nicole Daacke

"Emily's Paint palettes are part of my dream art setup - whimsical and unique, they provide so much happiness to my studio! There's nothing better than using a piece of art to make more art."
